Paramount Kings Island

This afternoon marked the first family trip to any amusement park. Despised by Daddy for the way they shake down families, Kings Island is a mere two turns and ten minutes away from the new house. Therefore, Daddy loses and will continue to lose as long as we're in this house.

Madeline was very excited and the hype ended up matching the fun she had. Juliette, who is always happy, was - shockingly - happy the entire time as well. Posted by Picasa
While Madeline is over 36" tall, Juliette is not. So while Madeline rode the rides, Juliette got held. She seemed okay with that. Posted by Picasa
...and here she is on the ride "Mommy's turn". Posted by Picasa
Here's Madeline on the Swiper ride, her first ride ever by herself. After that, there was no stopping her.

Also, here's a video of her on that ride:

If it's not showing up for you, go to http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7678205397994613798 and you can view it there. She's in car number six. Posted by Picasa

Like Father...

Other than the brown eyes, the darker skin, the thinning hair, the crooked smile and their love of dairy products, Daddy and Juliette have little if not anything in common. Posted by Picasa
Madeline knows the words to the bedtime stories by heart. Juliette is still learning. Posted by Picasa

Thanks For The Lift!

Juliette is always waiting in the back of the car when Madeline gets picked up from school. Posted by Picasa
Juliette trying out her sister's chair. The armrests keep her from tumbling right off of it. Posted by Picasa
When this was taken, Madeline was under the impression that she had just gotten a hot, fresh doughnut. She didn't hate the onion ring, but she probably would have preferred the doughnut. Posted by Picasa
Daddy worked the pedals and the gear shift; Madeline did all of the crashing. Posted by Picasa
In case anyone's wondering, Madeline hates NASCAR. However, she loves Will Ferrell. Posted by Picasa

Waiting for Pancakes

Madeline and Juliette waited patiently in a long line at Grand Finale today for Father's Day brunch. It was worth waiting for! Posted by Picasa

Just Hanging Out

Sometimes sisters just lay on the floor and look around. Other times their parents put them there and take pictures. Posted by Picasa

First Day of School Ever!!!!!

Madeline started her career as a student this week with her first days in preschool! She was so excited for her first day she could barely contain herself.

Only 20+ years to go until she's all done! Posted by Picasa
