Christmas is in the Air

Here are some pictures from over the past few days and weeks.



The peppermint stick ice cream at UDF is buy one scoop/get one free during the holiday season. Jillaine thinks that is a great idea. Madeline is okay with it too.



You may have received a Christmas card from us (yes, Peanut is raising his "hand" in it, and no, we didn't train him to do that). It took thousands of pictures and millions of cookies to get it just right. Here are a couple of pictures from the photo shoot as well as a little movie/singing interlude.

San Diego

Ramzy had a meeting in San Diego, and it wouldn't be fair for him to leave everyone behind. So the girls joined him for the weekend before he had to start working and visited all of the sites: .Wild Animal Park, the Zoo, Sea World, and Ramzy's grandmother's house, aka Teta's. We stayed at Paradise Point, which was very nice.

Pearl Harbor Day

While all of the pictures from our trip to San Diego are uploading, here are some shots from the front yard today, which was very un-San Diego like.



Madeline and her snowman remember the day that will live in infamy. I explained 12/7/41 to her but she doesn't quite grasp it yet.




Juliette takes time out from her bad cold which she is finally getting over to enjoy the snow.




Juliette marches through the place where we got our Christmas tree this evening. Pictures of that, as well as of the aforementioned San Diego trip (a lot of them) will be up very soon.

This is where Ramzy stayed for his work meeting in San Diego. It comes highly recommended.

South Cackalacky Road Trip!

Back from an eventful Thanksgiving vacation that took us by car from Ohio to Myrtle Beach with several stops in between, including Thanksgiving Day with the Nasrallahs of North Carolina, a crab stop in Columbia and a jaunt through Knoxville. Ann Arbor

We spent the weekend in Michigan's seventh largest city, a fine college town in its own right and took in college football's greatest rivalry. Our gracious hosts were the Schuelers - Micki, Dave, Zach, Dylan and Shaggy the cat. You can see all of the pictures from the weekend if you click here.

Beautiful Lengths

Madeline donated almost ten inches of her beautiful hair to charity so that someone who lost their hair due to chemotherapy could have a real hair wig. Here are some before/after pictures from Madeline's haircut.







Meanwhile, Juliette is still trying to cultivate her own hair. Here she is enjoying a thumbsuck.

Happy Halloween!

The girls had a full night of trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. Madeline was Belle, who apparently is one of the Disney princesses and Juliette was Minnie Mouse.

Disney on Ice, Lots of Visitors, a Haircut

For her birthday Madeline got a date night with Jillaine at Disney on Ice. Here are some pictures from that evening last week.

Pumpkin Patch

Jillaine, Nana & Papa took the girls to pick pumpkins and go on a hayride. There are plenty of pictures but for whatever reason these are the only ones Blogger will allow to be uploaded. "It's a known issue" apparently. Also a known issue - Ramzy being out of town and noticeably absent from the pumpkin festivities.

The Reading Room

Reading is fundamental. Reading while on the potty is combining two of life's pleasures.
