Fun Weekend

Big party on Saturday with lots of people coming over to watch basketball games, and if you were under four feet tall, run around screaming and playing.

Sunday was more low key with putt putt and just hanging out.

Madeline and Blake Burkle both hit every green off of the tee.

Both sisters wore hats. It was very sunny and hot!

Juliette provided support from her stroller.

Later on in the evening, here is Madeline giving Juliette a lesson in...something.

Bravo!

Friday night Grandma and Grandpa treated the family to a nice Italian dinner to celebrate Jillaine's birthday, which was several months ago but delayed due to trips to Maine, holidays, other birthdays, etc. Today also happens to be the seven year anniversary of our first date, so there was plenty to celebrate.

Several pictures were taken. You can see all of them if you click right here.

3 1/2 & 1

Juliette turned one yesterday, and Madeline turned three and a half today. Unfortunately for Madeline, you only get cake on the whole numbers, not the fractions (if that weren't the case, we'd have cake every day).

As for Juliette's first birthday celebration, you can see all of our pictures from yesterday right here and you can see some pictures from Rima and Kevin over here, here and here.

What? You forgot Juliette's birthday? She has a message for you:

One of many wipeouts and subsequent speed-crawls:

Paparazzo in Training

March Already?

In a move to save energy and be more environmentally conscious, we have begun generating power off of the static electricity that Madeline is able to conduct by rubbing her feet on the carpet. Note the hair. We're able to light the entire house just by having her run around.

Juliette playing with Collin Weckstein, while their daddies watched the Hoosiers lose to hated Michigan for the first time since either of them was alive, by several years.

Not sure what's going on here, but nobody's eyes are closed which makes it a rare picture.
