Chubby Hubby and Storytime

Madeline asked how pretzels were made. Then she needed to know how chocolate was made. Then ice cream. Naturally, this resulted in a Chubby Hubby snack, which is Ben & Jerry's genius combination of peanut butter-filled pretzels covered with chocolate in vanilla malt ice cream. Deliberately subtle.

Madeline congratulates her baby sister on being so well-behaved at a not-necessarily-for-babies restaurant. Way to go, Juliette!

Getting Over "The Pois"

Ramzy was ravaged by poison ivy this week and is now on multiple courses of therapy, thanks to his doctor and to Rima, who both contributed. Madeline now believes that she too has come down with "the pois", which entered through her belly button and is now all over her. Nice imagination. Only Ramzy has been affected.



As part an upcoming work meeting, I was supposed to submit a picture of myself at work. I was not up for it and instead had a stand-in take care of the pictures for me. My scrubs didn't fit well, and she doesn't look like my ID at all, but it's goin to have to do. All it cost me was a chocolate truffle.
