Two weeks worth of pictures...

Between lots of traveling for both work and pleasure, and all of us getting sick at some point, we haven't had time to update the blog. Kings Island

Today we made the first of many visits to Kings Island this summer (thanks for the passes Grandma!) which also turned out to be the day of Juliette's first (and second, and third) amusement park rides. Apparently if a baby is long enough to ride, it doesn't matter that she's a baby - she's good to go.




Here the girls are waiting to get onto the train, which was in fact Juliette's first ride:





She really wanted to get back on the train and ride it again...



Madeline explained to her that the train was totally lame and that there are much better rides in the park...



...like the car!



Here we have a three-year old teaching a one-year old how to drive...

And then Madeline insisted on going back to last year's favorite, Swiper.



The attendant had Juliette sit on the inside so that Madeline wouldn't be sliding into her.



...good idea.



On the way out, Madeline promised Scooby Doo she'd be back several times this summer.

Grandpa's 60th Birthday

We're all still full of meat after Grandpa's birthday dinner yesterday at the local Brazillian churrascaria. Here are a few pictures from the festivities.
