Interview with the Artist

Today we're with Madeline, the mind behind the recently fridged artwork "Sissy and Me at the Beach." Madeline thanks for joining us.

Thanks for the cookie.

Your work is so...intriguing. There's a lot happening. Please help us understand what was going on in your mind when you put this together.

It's Sissy and me at the beach.

You've managed to really capture the size disparity between you and Juliette, as well as the haircuts. It's remarkable. Where did you train?

On the potty.

Never mind. Please tell us what Juliette is doing in the picture.

She's touching a volcano.

So the blue thing is a volcano, and Juliette is touching it. What does that symbolize?

She's touching a volcano. Can I have another cookie?

Yes. What about the three suns? Where is this beach?

One, two, three. It's very sunny. We're at the beach.

We're almost out of time. What about the different spelling for Madeline?

That's called a pseudonym. I practice my art incognito. You wouldn't understand that degree of creativity, you corporate schlep.

No I wouldn't. Thanks for your time and we look forward to your next piece.

You bring the cookies, I'll make more pictures.

Grandma Amelia cannot stop laughing. This is precious! I don't know who is more creative - artisitic granddaughter or witty son! Sigh!

Southeby's is drooling at the millions that the post-modern masterpiece "Two sisters with three suns and a volcano at the beach" will bring at the next auction!
Meanwhile, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and Fox are all climbing over each other to secure this genius interviewer who has such a way with words...and daughters...
