We're Not Waiting until June 20 to Start Summer

The Conrads came over to barbecue this weekend. Despite being early June, we grilled outside and ate inside because it is already too steamy and ridiculous to be outside, especially if you have small people in your family.

Juliette going through the motions. To her, that plastic potty is just an uncomfortable chair with a hole in the middle that serves no practical purpose other than making adults cheer when you sit on it.



Biggest sister with smallest sister. Very likely that Amelie is pooping in this picture - it's safe to assume that is the case in any picture of her, going forward (until further notice).



Now that's more like it.



As a parent, when you get home from the gym covered in germs and sweat and nastiness, the very first thing you want to do is find a newborn and cover her with your stink. You're welcome. If you're a new parent, go ahead and just tell people you learned of this valuable tip in a book about raising children.
